Origami Speaker

We propose an origami speaker which can be handcrafted (e,g., cut, bend) with silver nano-particle ink on paper substrate. Our origami speaker is based on technique called electrostatic speaker. The audio signal is amplified to high voltage and applied to the electrode which vibrates to generate sound. Using origami techniques, users are able to design various shapes of origami speakers.
